Can you raise £2,000 whilst running in one of the UK’s most prestigious marathons and helping young people across Leicestershire?
By joining Team YMCA, you will help us continue our life-changing work supporting young people and local communities. Locally we provide a home to over 200 young people each year, with YMCAs across England and Wales supporting more than 20,000 people experiencing homelessness, but now with a more positive view of their futures.
We know that training for and running the London Marathon is a big challenge to undertake so we’re with you every step of the way. You can expect a dedicated point of contact, YMCA running vest, fundraising pack, newsletter and support on the day from our cheer point.
Minimum sponsorship for 2025 is £1,900 and a registration fee of £100. Places are held by YMCA England and Wales, but if you nominate YMCA Leicestershire as your local YMCA of choice, then a percentage will go towards supporting homeless young people in Leicester’s city and county.
